 Buying a gift of jewelry for your spouse or family member can be a daunting task. With so many options out there, and so many opinions from self-serving sales people, it's difficult to know where to begin. When shopping for practically any woman, a good place to start is with necklaces. Necklaces are versatile, they come in many shapes, sizes, and designs and they can be worn either prominently or discretely underneath clothing.
Plus, in general, women have fewer necklaces than earrings or rings. This is because most jewelry stores don't carry the same variety of necklaces that they have for other types of jewelry, and, often, the selection of necklaces that stores do carry is paltry and unappealing. So, at least for now, let's consider your necklace options. If you don't find something that fits the special woman you're buying for, you can then move on to other types of jewelry.
